Flowers and some gold - CAS by Anna Uhras

Hi dear ones!

Anna here today sharing some new CAS inspiration using our new stamps soon to be released in the Web Shop.

I've used the flowers out of the "Sittande Trädgårdspojke" set and a sentiment out of the "På Insidan" set.

Here's what I came up with.

Hej kära vänner! 

Anna här idag med lite ny CAS-inspiration där jag använt våra nya stämplar som när som helst dyker upp i Webshoppen.

Jag har lekt loss med blommorna ur "Sittande Trädgårdspojke" och texten är från setet, "På Insidan".

Så här blev resultatet.

I've stamped my flowers with Versamark and heat embossed my impression with white embossing powder. Then I masked my image and stamped and then heat embossed again. I repeat this process until I've made it all around my card. Before stamping I use an antistatic pouch over the surface to prevent stray powder sticking.

After the heat embossing I used some Distress inks and water to coloring my flowers in kind of a watercolor effect.

Jag stämplade blommorna med Versamark och värme-embossade med vitt embossingpulver. Sedan maskade jag motivet, stämplade och sen värme-embossade igen. Jag fortsatte den processen tills jag nått runt mitt kort. Innan varje omgång stämpling använder jag en antistat-kudde över min yta för att undvika att pulvret fastnar runtomkring motivet.

Efter att jag enmbossat allt använde jag några Distress inks och vatten för att färglägga med lite akvarell effekt.

My sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Min text är embossad med guld embossingpulver.

I completed my card adding a few sequins.

Jag avslutade med att limma fast små paljetter.

Christmas in July + Challenge

Christmas in July is a fun way to start your christmas cards even if we are in the middle of the summer (at least if you are living in Europe... We know other parts of the world might have it a bit colder).

Jul i Juli är väl ett härligt sätt att få fart på julkortsproduktionen redan mitt i sommaren (åtminstone här i Europa, andra delar av världen kanske har det lite kallare).

hÄnglar & Wings hoppar på jultåget och vi hoppas det är många där ute som gör oss sällskap, det finns massor av plats här! Se dig omkring och avnjut inspirationen, inte bara från vårt team, utan även från de som deltar i vår utmaning!

What? Create a christmas card or a christmas decoration.
You can do as many as you like, but one per post.
We are thrilled if you use the banner and link back to us
and use the tag #hanglarwings.


How? You use stamps from hÄnglar & Wings (we'll also accept the old hÄnglar & stÄnglar images!)
No other stamp company allowed, but you are free to use any paper, dies, colors etc.

When you post the link - please remember - the link must point direct to your post with your creation, we can't start browsing around your page looking for it.

When? During the month of July. You can link your creation until midnight july 31st swedish time.

Winners?  Our design team will vote for winners and we'll publish a post with winners here in the blog in the middle of august.

Prize?  Gift Cards.  1st prize = 300 SEK, 2nd prize = 200 SEK, 3rd prize = 100 SEK
Valid for our stamps/digis only.
